Our Mission
The mission of Task Force Pontis is to financially support Police Officers who are experiencing a financial hardship during the Disability pension process. Not only are these officers experiencing a financial hardship, but they are already working through a big change in their life. By being forced into an early unplanned retirement, many officers who find themselves in this situation become severely depressed and struggle to find a purpose again. Throwing a financial hardship on them as well is both unfair and morally wrong.
